The horizontal bar Only in red is a great piece of gym equipment for children or adults. You can set up this gymnastic bar in your garden in no time at all. Made of impregnated spruce, optionally also available in Douglas fir. You can adjust the height yourself according to the size of your child. If you wish, we can drill the holes for you. You can also attach the horizontal bars to various Sanilu play towers as an extension. Your children can train their strength and dexterity on the horizontal bars.

Not suitable for children under 3 years. Please only use under adult supervision. The horizontal bar is only suitable for outdoor use. It should be firmly anchored in the ground with concrete.

The horizontal bars are easy and uncomplicated to install. The appropriate fastening material and screw caps are included in the scope of delivery. The concrete required is not included in the scope of delivery.

Mounting the horizontal bar

Pino explains how to assemble the horizontal bar

Drill or shovel first! Place the first post in the hole and make sure that it is perfectly straight. Now comes Pino's professional trick: simply hold the horizontal bar against the upright post - this way you can immediately see where the second hole needs to go so that everything fits perfectly in the end
Now drill or shovel the second hole and insert the next post. Align it carefully and use a spirit level to ensure that both posts are at exactly the same height. Now it's time to pre-drill the mounting holes in the wood - make sure that the horizontal bar sits absolutely level later. Finally, mount the bar firmly between the two posts
Fill in some sand around the posts and moisten it slightly - this provides the initial stability. Even if it is not absolutely necessary for every ground, Pino always advises setting the posts in concrete. To do this, pour around three quarters of the prepared concrete into the hole so that the concrete layer ends around 5 cm below the surface of the ground. This leaves enough space at the top for soil or turf.
Give the concrete some time to harden - after approx. 1 to 2 days everything will be firm. You can then simply fill the top layer with grass, soil or rubber tiles to make everything look neat and tidy again. Pino's closing words: Now everything is safely assembled! Have fun climbing, exercising and playing on your new climbing pole.
To ensure that your horizontal bar is really stable, it must sit deep enough in the ground and be firmly anchored with concrete. This is the only way to ensure that nothing wobbles and everything remains secure - even when things get wild during romping, swinging and gymnastics! Pino's professional tip: Anchoring in concrete ensures that your horizontal bar remains stable and gives you real pleasure for a long time to come

A level and shock-absorbing surface is essential for safe playtime fun. Remember: when wet, the wood and the horizontal bar can become slippery, so be careful. Also make sure that the children are wearing suitable clothing without loose strings or accessories - that way no one can get caught and everyone can play safely and without worry!
